Sunday, Sept 15, 2024: Purposeful Power. Jesus tells us to expect to be baptized in the Holy Spirit so we can receive power. That power is not for our own purposes, but for His. A powerful message about power!

Sunday, Sept 8, 2024: Piecing it Together. There is a difference between being sealed by the Holy Spirit and being filled by the Holy Spirit. The very good news for us is that there is more of God for us, if we just ask Our Father in heaven.

Summer in the Psalms wrapped up on Sun Sept 1: Psalm 144, Going Forward by Going Back. Are you facing challenges? Headed back to school or back to the office? God has been saying that He has been preparing us for what lies ahead this whole time.

Sun, Aug 25, 2024: Psalm 101, To-Do. We who know Jesus are called to be spiritual leaders. Leaders need to be organized and diligent, and to that end a to-do list is most helpful (–when you get a round “TUIT”!)

Pastor Marcus wraps up the “The Kingdom” series Sunday, June 30, 2024 with the parable of The Banquet.

Sunday, June 23, 2024: The Vineyard. Talking to the top religious leadership of His day, Jesus speaks of a vineyard. In this message, Pastor Marcus unpacks the parable of the two sons and the parable of the wicked tenants. Both tell us that God’s Kingdom requires faith and faithfulness.

Sunday, June 16, 2024: A Denarius. Looking at the parable of the workers in the vineyard from the context in which the parable is given, we find our Lord teaching us that there is great wealth in God’s Kingdom – but it is not wealth as we think of it here in our present culture.

Sunday, June 9, 2024: Seventy-seven. Few things are more important than forgiveness. In the words of Matthew West, “It’s the hardest thing to give away, and perhaps the last thing on your mind today. It always seems to go to those who don’t deserve. It’s the opposite of how you feel, when the pain they caused is just too real. Takes everything you have to say the word.” Yet as Jesus explains it, to be in God’s Kingdom we don’t just have to say it, but mean it from our hearts.

Sunday, June 2, 2024: The Culture of the Kingdom. To live in the Kingdom of God, one must adapt to the culture there. That culture begins with humility – and to that point Jesus gives us a three-part parable. It starts with an object lesson. It includes the shock of hyperbole, and it ends with what might be the most well-known of all the stories Jesus used to describe His Kingdom.

Sunday, May 26, 2024: The Secrets of the Kingdom. Jesus spoke in parables to communicate the knowledge of the secrets of the Kingdom to some, but not to all. (Matthew 13:11). In this message on the 8th parable, Pastor Marcus walks us through how we can know we have understood just what those secrets are.

Sunday, May 19, 2024: The Global Net. A fish cake. There are good fish and there are bad fish. The fish don’t sort themselves into these categories. The fisherman does. In this 5th message on the parables of Jesus, Pastor Marcus walks us through the 7th parable our Lord used to explain His Kingdom.

Sunday, May 12, 2024: The Greatest of Riches. A Mother’s Day service that reminded us that “We’re richer than we think!” within the Kingdom of God.

Sunday, May 5, 2024: The Smallest of Seeds Pastor Marcus walks us through 7 key truths from the parables of the mustard seed and the yeast to help us to enjoy and engage in His Kingdom

Sunday, April 28, 2024: Weeds and Wheat This 2nd parable has 10 spiritual insights and 3 application points for those of us who have ears to hear His voice.

Sunday, April 21, 2024: Parables In this new series we examine the profound teachings of Jesus Christ regarding the Kingdom of God. In this first message we find that Jesus didn’t use parables without cause or effect. He very much had both in mind!

Sunday, April 7, 2024: The 4th Day When you watch the eclipse, keep the truth about the matter in mind! Our creator made the sun and moon (and stars) for a reason, and He told us the reason. He did not make such things to us to govern us, or to portend disaster – God does such things Himself. Scripture tells us very clearly what our relationship with the celestial bodies is, what it means and how to understand the heavenly light show of tomorrow’s eclipse.

The Simple Truth series continues with THE SIMPLE TRUTH ABOUT PRAYER, looking at The Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6.

Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024: Resurrection Prayer. Jesus prayed before and during His suffering on the cross.

Sunday, March 25, 2024: Yours, Lord! Yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, forever and ever, Amen! In this final message on the Simple Truth About Prayer, Pastor Marcus walks us through the doxology of the prayer.

Sunday, March 17, 2024: Temptation & Deliverance. There is a difference between trials and temptations, and a reason we ask our Father in Heaven to lead us not into temptation. In this message on the Lord’s Prayer, Pastor Marcus walks us through what that difference is, and details both why and how to pray against temptation.

Sunday, March 10, 2024: Our service began with the wonderful baptism of four individuals. Watch the entire service here: Forgive Us

Sunday, March 3, 2024: Requesting Bread. When Jesus tells us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” He is telling us to pray for much more than a crust of some barley loaf!

Sunday, February 25, 2024: Your Will be Done. When we pray for the will of God, we pray for the whole – the parts we know and the parts we do not know. In this message, Pastor Marcus walks us through four aspects of praying God’s will. An encouraging and inspiring message!

Sunday, February 18, 2024: Your Kingdom Come

God’s Kingdom will come to be on earth as it is in heaven – in all its wonder and glory. But until that day, we gain much as we pray for His Kingdom come. In this message, Pastor Marcus explains why and how praying “Your Kingdom come” is to our great benefit in the here and now of our daily lives.

Sunday, February 4, 2024: “In Heaven” There is a powerful reason why Jesus wants us to have heaven in mind when we pray. More than one actually!
